Every time I launch Excel 2011 after a reboot I receive a series of messages "Microsoft Excel.app needs to download the font STKaiti". This is a 65MB file. Actually it goes through a whole series of similar messages. Is there any way to tell Excel that I don't want or need these fonts so it stops asking?

I've found that it happens when I have it show "More" (previously opened excel documents) and it'll stop just before the same one and pop the "Download STKaiti" window. To fix it, I deleted the offending excel file and did a "Clear Recent" in my "File->Open Recent" menu. BTW, Excel also opens much faster now that the "recent" list has been cleared.

Hi, do you know how you 'clear recent' on a Mac? There is no such command on my latest Office menu in Word. I get a fond popup like yours, that followed a hacked site opening on my computer. I think this font popup is from malware.....
