Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel How do I remove a trendline? This is very frustrating.

Even at 200% zoom there is no way to click on the trendline. The cursor remains a crossed arrow. If I right click on the data line, there is no choice for removing a trendline, only for adding new trendlines

I don't have a Mac handy to check on, but what happens if you just select
the chart & go back to the same menu you usd to add the Trendline? In the PC
versions it's just a matter of "adding" or "removing".

Thanks for the reply, but that menu just lets me modify the trendline.

Select the chart or a chart object. Use the up-down arrow keys to cycle through the major chart objects until the trendline is selected. (Or, use the left-right arrow keys to cycle through the major and minor chart objects.) Press the Delete key.
