Unwanted CR'a Added to Plain Text Messages

Diana,

I question if they listened to the formal request to ditch or at least
give users the option to prevent Entourage from adding a CR (or
whatever) after so many characters for Plain Text messages?

I just checked the Preference and do not recall anything in the SP1
12.1.0 Read Me file on this subject. Maybe this is something unique to
Microsoft as Apple's Mail does not mess with text messages. This has
been and may still be a very annoying feature of Entourage

In defense, they cannot answer every request that is sent, or not in what we
might consider a timely manner.

This is the format flowed issue. "format=flowed" basically, is unwrapped
text without automatic line endings, something many other mail clients have.

I asked users to send in their request for this option in this article:

I doubt this is something we would see as an update to 2008, but hopefully
in 2010.
