I have already read what I believe to be the available posts on this issue. MUAs like Eudora accept a To: 'undisclosed recipients:;', provided the recipient's is followed by the two punctuation marks :;. Other MUAs, like Thuderbird, will oblige by letting you enter *only* Bcc: recipients, and it will automatically print out "undisclosed recipients:;" in the To: field. This is, in my opinion, the correct way to compose a message addressed to multiple recipients, without revealing their e-mail address, and without having to add an awkward To: like the sender's own e-mail address. I don't want to set "distribution lists", I want to be able to choose to which Bcc: I want to send this or this message.
Can Entourage do so, i.e. accept a "convenience" To: field, when the real addressees are all in Bcc:?
Thanks in advance.
Charly

Hi Charly!

If I understand your question correctly, you can certain create a
send-only account under Tools --> Accounts... with the name "Undisclosed
Recipients".

Depending on your ISP you may or may not be able to send without
including a legitimate From E-mail address. You could always put your
own address there but the display should still show "Undisclosed
Recipients".

Hope this helps!
