Entourage email issue

I have set up my hotmail account in Entourage. I can receive emails
but cannot send. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you!

I should have added that this worked fine up until a week ago, and I
have changed nothing on my computer. I get an "HTPP error. The request
cannot be fulfilled message" with error number 1412.

Now I get an error message that I must buy Hotmail's Premium service
for this to work on Entourage. If I pay that amount, how do I know it
will work?

I don't use Hotmail and know very little about it. You haven't mentioned
what version of Entourage you are using. So far it seems that the update did
not affect Entourage 2004 users, so if you are using 2004 then your problem
did have to do with your account. If you are using Entourage X, then no,
updating to the premium service will not work AFAIK.
