Is there a way to archive old emails, contacts, etc. for entourage onto a disk and start entourage fresh with a new email account? If not, is there something similar?
I used to work from home for my previous employer and used my entourage exclusively for that. Now he only calls me about once every six months. I need to keep all his client lists available, but not handy enough for daily use. I need to separate what I do for him with what I do on a daily basis with my current work.

Thanks everyone for any help you can provide!

It sure would help if you used plain text. Your choice of HTML font size is
too small for me to read easily. </end rant>

Create a new Identity in Entourage. Under Entourage in the Menu bar select
to Switch Identity. In the new window select "New". You can easily use
Switch Identity to go back to the old Identity. You can trim that Identity
to make it smaller. Use the Custom view to help.

For some tips and suggestions see:

Hi Gwendolyn!

I suggest you take the simple route and use Entourage's Switch
Identity... command found under the Entourage menu.

This allows you to keep your old database available for use later while
letting you start with a clean new database. Everything will need to be
set up again (email accounts, preferences, rules, etc.).

You can use the Switch Identity... command again to temporarily change
back to your old E-mail database.

Hope this helps!
