Does anyone know if it is possible to merge two Entourage X identities into
one?
I have an IMAP account in one identity that I would like to move to another.
Downloading email from the first identity into the second one is no problem.
What I'm more concerned about are the rules that I have set up...there's no
way to export/extract them, as far as I can tell, and I'm trying to avoid
having to recreate all of them in the second identity.
If you know of a solution, please let me know! (When replying, a cc email to
nu...@nuvs.com would be appreciated!)

Yes. What's easiest is to drag all mailboxes and contacts to the Desktop,
and then to switch identities and drag them back into the other identity.
However, this won't work for other data. In order to transfer that into the
other identity, you'll need to look into the script set mentioned below.
If you need to import everything (except rules, links, and a few other
things) into another identity, you can still do so. Paul Berkowitz's
"Export-Import Entourage" script set ($20) can export nearly all information
from Entourage in a format readable by other Entourage identities. Download
a copy of Export-Import Entourage and check out the Read Me (free) to learn
whether this product might be for you.

You don't even need to import an identity to access IMAP mail. Since it's
all stored on the server, you can simply re-download it from the server. Go
to Tools -> Accounts in your new identity, set up the account, and you
should see it as you do in the other identity.

No, you cannot export/import rules. This is a highly-requested feature
among the intermediate and advanced users. I suggest you send your feedback
to Microsoft. In Entourage X, go to Help -> Send Feedback on Entourage.
Otherwise, click on this direct link to enter Mac Product Feedback:
