Backing Up Entourage

Just wondering if there are any other sysy admins out there with the
same issue I have written below?

Basically when doing a backup of the users computer in a business
environment it stinks to back up entourage. Entourage keeps the email
in a db and any change that whole db needs to be backed up. Now in
certain places it is not difficult since they are on IMAP, but POP
users with 1-2 gigs of email the whole db of 1-2 gigs needs to be
backed up nightly. With Apple Mail each message is kept separate so
back up only backs up that one message. Anyone know a way to simplify
this back up method of just what has changed? If so def let me know
because this is a major issue with Entourage.

You can seen Microsoft feedback on this requesting a different backup
strategy, but because the database is so tied into all of the features it is
highly doubtful they will change from the database as storage.

That is what I thought, this a horrible product in that sense since
backing up is an important aspect for business use to home user use.
