You can't. Microsoft Messenger for Mac does not currently support
audio/video chat. This feature is planned for a future version, but nobody
knows when that one will be released. In the mean time, search this group
for similar threads and you will find a bunch of alternatives to Mac
Messenger which do support A/V calls.

Hi,

you will need Office Communications Server 2007 installed within your
corporate network. If you don't have OCS 2007, you cannot use Messenger for
video calls. There are free alternatives, however, that you can use. Google
for aMSN.

Hi,

as I mentioned in one of my previous answers, it is not possible to make
video calls with the current version of Microsoft Messenger for Mac.
Messenger is freely available and can be downloaded at no cost; there is no
need to buy Microsoft Office if you only want to use Messenger. There are
alternatives to Messenger, though, some of which support video chat. There
are a number of discussions here that should point you in the right
direction.

Hi. I am a Mac user as well. It seems to me that there is quite a demand for
a chat client that will support Windows to Mac video calls, but obviously,
it's not a high priority for the MSN Messenger folks. I got smart and
installed Skype. It works with Mac, Windows and Linux video chats and it's
free to make video calls to other Skype users. Because it's free for Skype to
Skype calls via computer, all my contacts that were on MSN are now using
Skype more often and MSN less. Give it a try!
