Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard)

For a few days now, one contact I formally had but long deleted would pop up to add to my contacts every time I logged in, regardless of what I would click. Now it keeps occurring with the same ten former contacts, they keep popping up to be re-added no matter what I try. I can't make them appear in either the allow or block list, and they remain blocked on my list even if I try and unblock them. Happens every time I log in.

It's driving me nuts, can anyone offer any advice on how to get rid of this problem?

I've had the same problem since version 6.
Try aMSN and see if the contacts are gone from your list there, they are for me...

I found a solution by quitting Messenger and deleting the file 'Microsoft Messenger User Cache.plist' from Users / [username] / Library / Preferences / Microsoft. Upon relaunching, Messenger will build a clean cache file and the undesired contacts will be gone. Try it.

All of you should sign out from your Live Msgr Account,
and

1. click at Try Signing in using different account
2. Clear Account History
3. Clear History
4. Resign-in to live messenger

Thanx
Hope this would work out for all of you
