ＸＰのインストール中に停止してしまいエラー表示されます

ＸＰのインストール中に停止してしまいエラー表示されます
下記のようなブルー画面が出てしまい、何度再起しても
動かなくなってしまいました。

a problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage
to your computer.
if this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen,
restart your computer.
if this screen appears again,follow these steps

check for viruses on your computer.
remove any newly installed hard drives or hard drive controllers.
check your hard drive to make sure it is properly configured and terminated.
run chkdsk /f to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your
computer

原因とおもわれる部分がハードのどの部分なのか、もしくはインストール
手順に問題があったのでしょうか？
初心者なのでよろしくおねがいします。

問題となっている環境と状況をできるだけ具体的に詳しく説明してください。

どのような機械に どのEdition の、 Windows XP を導入しようと試みているのでしょうか？

Error Message から判断すると、
導入を試みている hard Disk Drive もしくは Hard Disk Controller に 障害が存在する、
あるいは、 Hard Disk Drive に Virus が存在している可能性が指摘されています。

問題となっている 機械に 複数の Hard Disk Drive が存在しているのであれば、
Windows XP を導入する対象となる Hard Disk Drive だけを接続した状態で、
hard Disk Drive メーカ 提供の ツールをつかって、
hard Diks Drive の初期化、 および、 Hard Disk Drive の エラー チェックを実行してください。

Western Digital の Hard Disk Drive であれば、
下記から Tool が入手できます。

Seagate の hard Disk Drive であれば、 下記の Support から 入手できます。
http://www.seagate.com/www/en-us/

いずれにせよ、 もう少し具体的で詳しい環境と状況の説明をしてください。
