エラー0x80070005でアップデート失敗する

こんにちは。ricaと申します。

WinXPHomeSP2

2007年3月までは正常にWindowsアップデートできていたのですが、2007年4月から
アップデート失敗するようになりました。
現在必要な更新は21個出てきますが、全て失敗します。
カスタム→1つだけ選択して、以下に、失敗ログを貼り付けました。

どなたかご教授下さい。

こんばんは。
ずいぶん前から発生していますね。
0x80070005のエラーに関しての対処法は、下記情報にある
レジストリ編集が有効なようです。
この操作は十分注意して間違えないようにしてください。
レジストリエディタのファイル－エクスポートで該当キーを
事前に保存してから行ったほうが良いですね。

Windows Update サイトで利用可能な更新を検索すると 検索中に 0x800A01AD エラーが表
示される

エラーが発生するパソコンが別の場所にあるため確認が遅くなりました。

上記を確認しましたが、やはり、エラー0x80070005でアップデートが失敗します。
別の、WindowsUpdateが正常に行えるWinXPProSP2パソコンのレジストリを確認し、
Everyoneを追加してみたりもしましたが結局エラーになりました。

現在、重要な更新が21個溜まってて、一番古い更新を1つだけ選択しても
やってみましたが、エラー0x80070005で失敗しました。

問題となっている環境と状況を出来るだけ具体的に詳しく説明してください。

問題となっている機械には、 どの様な背キュ入りティ ソフトウェア が導入されているのでしょうか？
問題の Error Code 0x80070005 は Anti-Virsu Software、 あるいは Anti-Spyware などの
セキュリティ ソフトウェア に 起因する障害である場合もあることが 報告されています。
wuaueng.dll の 再登録も実行されているのでれば、
導入されている セキュリティ ソフトウェア を一時完全に停止させてから、
Windows Update の実行を試みてください。

それでも、 同様の障害が発生する場合は、
Windows の Event log に記載されている Error log の 調査も実行してみてください。

キングソフトのインターネットセキュリティ です。

実行し、正常にレジストリ登録されたメッセージが表示されました。

提示されているのは Event Viewer の Error Log ではなく、 Windowsupdate.log ですね。
Event Viewer は Windows の Control Panel ないの 管理ツール の 中に存在します。
その Event Viewer を開いて、 Event Viewer 画面左側の 各項目を指定すると、
その 項目ごとに 画面右側に Event log の 一覧が表示されます。
そこに記載されている Error に分類される log の
Event ID と Event Source を提示してください。

どの様な操作手順で、 停止 を実行されたのでしょうか？

とりあえず、
提示されている windowsupdate.logで分かるのは、
spmsg.dll の削除に失敗しているということです。
念のため、 Windows に Built-in の Administrator アカウント で logon して、
C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution フォルダの アクセス権限、
Owner を確認してから、 Windows Update を実行してみてください。

Built-in の Administrator アカウントでも 同様の現象になる場合は、
やはり Error Event log を提示してみてください。

私も同様の問題で困っておりました。
私の場合(XP Pro)は以下にあるように、EFS暗号化されたCATファイルの暗号化を解除したところ、
正常にアップデートできるようになりました。

Don't know if it applies to other incidents since ACCESS_DENIED is a
very generic error code, but we had the same problem on a XP Pro
machine (Windows Update failed downloading with 0x80070005, exact same
error messages in WindowsUpdate.log).

In our case we found that the particular machine had an EFS encrypted
CAT file in
%WinDir%\system32\CatRoot\{F750E6C3-38EE-11D1-85E5-00C04FC295EE}. The
CAT file belonged to a Cisco WLAN driver, but I guess this is
secondary.

Removing encryption with the CAT file fixed the problem. Windows update
now downloads and installs updates as usual.

当社でアップデート失敗するパソコンは、WinXPHomeですので、暗号化はできないようです。
CATファイルのプロパティで、暗号化部はグレイアウトで使用できなくなっています。


イベントビューアのログにもエラーは出てませんし、新しく管理者権限で作ったユーザーで

アップデートしても同じエラーが発生しました。
何かしらセキュリティの問題だとは思うのですが、手は尽くしお手上げ状態です。

Event Viewer には、 見かけ上の関連性にかかわらず、
一切の Error log が存在しないと言うことでしょうか？
Event Viewer には log が正常に記録されているでしょうか？

とりあえず、 失敗した 更新のうち、 任意のものを Microsoft Download Center から Download をして、
その Download をした File を適用してみては如何でしょうか。

Download が可能で、 Install に 失敗するようであれば、
Windows Installer の Logging を有効にして、
Windows Installer の log を調査されてみては如何でしょうか。

また 通常起動での Install に 失敗した場合、
safeMSI.exe などを使って、 Windows を safe mode で起動させた状態で、
Download をした Update の適用が可能であるかを 試みては如何でしょうか。
