CE 6.0 KITL接続について

KITL接続について何方かご教授願います。
早速ですが、現在SH4搭載のCE機の移植開発（CE4.2－＞CE6.0 R2）しております。
その際にKITLがうまく動作していません。ログは以下のように出力されます。
色々調べますと、SetKernelCommDevが起因しているようです。
しかし、このAPIはMSDNではサポートされないと記載されています。
代替となるAPIなど、この問題の解決方法を教えていただけませんでしょうか？
