■症状
Windows Server 2003 SP1で構成されたドメインコントローラやActive Directory環境に新たに R2
で構築したファイルサーバーを追加してDFSルートサーバーに設定すると、イベントログにレプリケーションエラーが発生します。
サポート技術情報ではActiveDirectoryのスキーマのバージョンアップが必要
と言っています。

The DFS Replication service detected that required Active Directory schema
objects are not available on the domain controller. This problem can occur if
the schema was not upgraded, if the schema partition has not yet replicated
to domain controller, or if the version of the schema is incompatible. The
service will try again in the next Active Directory poll cycle.
User Action
To use DFS Replication, you must update the Active Directory® schema to
install the Active Directory classes and attributes used by DFS Replication.
These schema changes are provided on the second Windows Server™ 2003 R2
operating system CD. This schema can be applied to domain controllers running
Windows® 2000 Server, Windows Server 2003, and Windows Server 2003 R2. To
upgrade the schema, on the schema operations master, run adprep.exe
/forestprep. The adprep.exe command-line tool is available in the cmpnents
2\adprep folder on the second Windows Server 2003 R2 installation CD.

(R2)がDC(SP1)のメンバーサーバーの場合、このような症状が起きるようです。その場合、DCのスキーマをアップデートする必要があるようです（ものは２枚目のCDに入っているようです）
