Anyone know how to manipulate the language input mode editor that
comes with windows and office?

I need to change the input mode when a column gets focus..
direct - half width katakana and back again..

Have tried google but cant find anything with much relevance.

Thanks

What exactly do you need?
do you want change default input mode?

Did you chack your IME's input settings in properties?

Is it a meaning said the automatic?
Or, is it a meaning said by Manual?

If you use Japanese Keyboard, try "hannkaku/zennkaku" key and "hennkann" key in manual.

I want to change input mode in code in my application.
So when a user begins to type something in a edit box my application
is to change the input mode to half width katakana then when they
change focus to another edit box then switch back to hiragana..

I think that being assumed the problem is not a topic to be suitable for this
group.

Please contribute the group of the language used again specifying it.

For instance, the following examples exist if it is VBA.

http://www.vba-world.com/ime_ctrl.html

However, if other languages are used, this information cannot be used.
