Need Help to install Virtual Pc.

I want to install Virtual Pc on a laptop that has Windows Xp home edition as
it O.S. pre-installed in it.When i tried to install virtual pc, a message
saying you're installing on a incompatible O.S. is displayed.Is there any way
i can install virtual pc on my laptop without having to change my O.S. If
virtual pc cannot be installed on my laptop,then what is the best option.If i
decide to upgrade my O.S. to Windows Xp professional so that i can install
virtual pc, then will my softwares that came pre-installed with my laptop &
the ones that i have installed carried to the new O.S.

You have posted question in wrong forum.
Anyways, please check the supported OS for virtualization tool u r using.
Please let me know which virtualization tool u r using.
