What we want to know is, where can we download a compatible version of JVM that will work in our Internet Explorer. Or do we need to go to Opera or some other third party browser to use the websites with Java?

I'm also having problems with Javascript links within IE6SP2 that just
opens and closes. I tried the same link in Mozilla Firefox which worked
just fine.

I did a search in the Microsoft and Sun sites but they can't offer any
solution -- mainly because MS is getting their hands-off from MSJVM
after they lost the lawsuit back in April/2004.

MS has a faq page about transitioning to another java platform since
they will totally stop support from their websites by Dec 31/2007. So
might want to check this out: http://www.microsoft.com/mscorp/java/faq.asp

Good luck and let us know if you find something.

i agree with everyone. I have been trying to download Java for over 3 weeks
and it wont let me. I keep getting some error message. Its really
frustrating. I called the 1-866-234-6020 and all i get is a bunch of
recordings telling me to call some place else. I would like to be able to
play games with my granddaughter or even by myself. A real solution would be
awesome and helpful
