Reinstalling it would most likely resolve your problem, as I assume the
error you are getting implies it is corrupted.
Alternatively, if you uninstalled the Windows Desktop Search, then you may
need to remove a call to it in your startup log.
To do that you would:
1. Press Microsoft Flag key and R key together to open RUN window
2. Type msconfig press ENTER
3. Select Startup Tab
4. Remove checkmark next to any entry calling the Windows Desktop Search or
uncdms.dll file itself.uncdms.dll refers to the Windows Desktop Search
application.
