spell checker says english isn't available for checking my e-mail.

I try to spell check in Windows Mail & I get the error: this language isn't
available.
how do I find out which setting needs to be changed? My e-mail is in
english. Vista version is in english. I'm running a Babylon7 add-on in IE7
for translation to Espanol, from Spanish to English, & I have both
dictionaries in the program plus online dicts are just a click away.
