My Preinstallation of Windows XP runs fine with a self-made WINPE CD and
floppy. (I had to create a CD where I added the network drivers for my
Master Computer.) When I look on the error log I find that the
preinstallation of applications fails because the user credentials are not
giving access to the shared install locations. I have tried multiple
options, using the same user credentials as are used in the Distribution
Share. And I have used different locations for the Application installation
shares. Nothing seems to work and the error is always a logon issue. I ask
when the Preinstallation of Applications occurs because I suspect that it is
occuring at a time after the OS is installed and that there are no network
drivers to make a login for access to the Applications shares successful.
Please comment. Hours of trial and error are going by.
