ISA Server 2006 and windows update..

I have isa server 2006 and can't get any machines to go out to windowsupdate
and get any updates they all receive the error 0x8024402F. I created an
Access rule and used the "Microsoft Update Domain Name Set" but users still
get the message, how long does it take for a new rule to go into effect? I
can only patch when I completely shut down ISA.
