Windows XP Computer won't install anything

I was wondering if anyone has an issue and knows how to fix an issue with a
computer that won't install anything and won't even do Windows Update due to
"Active X" files won't load on it? Also it won't allow other software to be
installed.

Also it has the Update.inf file won't load or run due to Cryptographic
problems, Microsoft has abandoned us so far on this computer.
Thank you for anyone that has any suggestions on how to fix this issue.

I have the same problem and am very disappointed. I cannot instal Active X
and this is not the only problem I have with Microsoft. I hope they take note
because emails do not seem to be read.
