Hi,

Is it possible to install activeX for the editor without going through
normal IE activeX download prompt ?
Some desktops don't receive the prompt at all,we have already checked IE
security settings for activeX, cleared cache etc.
Is the download available somewhere ?

Cheers,
Smita

Any answers to this question yet? I have the same problem at my company --
MCMS 2002 worked great for years, and all of a sudden people are starting to
see red "X" icons in the content placeholders when the go to Edit mode.
Almost as if the CMS Editor Toolbar 'plugin' had been removed. Those that
have lost it are never prompted by the browser to download it again.

Is there a .cab file available somewhere for download, that could be
registered with regsvr32, that would allow people to edit their CMS 2002
pages again? We are in progress of migrating from CMS to Sharepoint, but
people need to be able to go into Edit mode and copy/paste their content ---
and now they can't do that.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
