Hi Everyone!
I have a very strange error.
When i surf the web using IE 5 thru an ISA server everything works fine.
But when i tries to connect to a Newsserver using OE nothing happens.

When i install the firewallclient i the same computer and then tries to
connect to
a newsserver the firewall client app tells me that the ISA server is
inaccessible.

This is happening in a few of our >500 computers ,in the rest it works fine.
Any suggestions

Thanks

Stefan

What are you using for name resolution internally?
How have you configured the FW client settings in ISA?

Make sure that the client (workstation) gateway is set to the ip of the last
router on the ISA to Workstation chain. Router should have a shortest path
to the ISA set.
Hope this help,
Vic

I solved it!

We have both T/R and Ethernet which we are in process to move all WS from
T/R to Ethernet and when i attached the WS to Ethernet then everything
works fine.
So i guess whithout much looking in causes for the error something was wrong
with the routing paths for the T/R net(as vic suggested).

Many thanks

Stefan
