Hi,

I have an ISA 2006 server handling firewall and web proxying / filtering in
a medium sized office. Probably slight over kill but there we go - it's in
place and running. What I could really do with is some block lists for URL
and domain names. I have downloaded a few and they are working nicely, just
wondered if anyone could point me in the direction of some
better/bigger/updated ones.

Thanks
Jim

Hey fella:

you will need to format some databaces to XML but it will work, am working
with filtering for a massive porn, adult content, guns, etc. all my web
traffic improved since then.

I downloaded the databace from http://urlblacklist.com/ but you have to
format it to XML, i used a program called ReplaceEM and formated all the
databaces in a few seconds.

Note: after you import those Databaces your ISA Server will experiment a
slow performance (when making changes) and require more memmory than before.
The performance with your web browsing will not be affected, I recommend to
you that make an internal web page telling to your users than a site is
blocked by policy.

Good Look.

Just create an account with www.OpenDNS.com and forget it.
In you account settings with them,...block sites by catagory,...not by
trying to manage huge block lists that are totally unmanagable and will kill
the performance of ISA.
