Using MS ISA Server 2006.

It works fine and users have no problem surfing internet.
Is it necessary to install MS Firewall client on user workstations?

What are the purposes of having the MS Firewall client in the workstations?

Hi,

not necessary if you do not want to use authentication in Firewall rules for
protocols other tthan HTTP/HTTPS

configure the workstation as a SecureNAT client instead of Webproxy Client.
