I have a user trying to connect to an external website using SSL. When the
user connects, they get the following error:
Error Code: 502 Proxy Error. Connection refused(10061)
IP Address: 139.177.222.25
Date: 5/10/2006 2:56:48 PM
Server: servername.domain.local
Source: proxy

When I checked the log on the ISA server, it shows the following error:
Dest. IP: 139.177.222.25
Dest. Port: 443
Protocol: SSL-Tunnel
Action: Failed Connection Attempt
Rule: Transaction Test Policy
Client Username: Anonymous

I am able to get to other SSL sites. I have contacted the website to see if
they are using a different Port # other than 443 but they claim they are
using the default SSL port. I also found the following document:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/isa/2004/plan/client_ssl.mspx
but it didn't help.

I have also applied SP2 and I also ran the following hotfix:
Update for HTTP issues in Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2004
Service Pack 2

Any ideas on what I can try?

Thanks in advance for the help

It's works fine for me. I had to use the IP# since I don't know the URL. I
haven't done anything special to my ISA to get it to work.

What are the specific details of your Rule called "Transaction Test Policy"?

The configuration is as follows:

Action: Allow
Protocols: HTTP, HTTPS & SSL-Tunnel
From: Internal
To: Transactions.mckhboc.com
Condition: All users

The Transactions.mckhboc.com is a Domain Name Set. The set is contains the
following entry: *.mckhboc.com. I also setup a URL set but it didn't work
either. I hope this is what you needed.

Thanks,
Chad
