Hello,

I am no expert with VPNs, so pardon my ignorance. Also, I apologize if
this is not in the right section. Here goes nothing.

Broad Picture
We have an ISA server that manages our VPN out in Seattle. We have
multiple sites with multiple domain controllers and all our users
connect to this VPN. No other users, neither myself has problems with
accessing the network resources through the VPN.

Issue
One of my users can connect to the VPN just fine. I can remotely log
into her machine just fine and she can ping our sharepoint site via IP
address but not by name (sharepoint.companyname.local) . However, when
she tries to access the sharepoint site via internet explorer, comcast
displays a message saying "the sharepoint.companyname.local site
cannot be found" and brings up some generic Yahoo/Comcast front page.

Occasionally, when I type the 10.100.x.x IP address into the address
bar of her IE browser, it will bring up a login prompt asking for her
domain credentials. I enter those and then that same error from Yahoo/
Comcast comes up, it even resolves the ip address in the error to the
domain name (sharepoint.companyname.com)

Her wireless network is on a 192.168.x.x network and the VPN connects
with a 10.100.x.x network.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and if there is anything else I
can provide for your help, just ask!

Thanks,
-Uzair
