What certificate types are supported by schannel

Does anyone know what certificate types are supported by schannel. By
certificate types I mean "uc ssl certificate", "wildcard ssl certificate" etc.

Is there any Microsoft documentation that provides this information?

I found what I was looking for:

Support for "uc certificates" and wldcards is specified in RFC 2595.

Schannel does support wildcard as specified in kb 258858 or
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/258858

I assume uc is supported by schannel as well as both scenarios are covered
in RFC 2595.

Does anyone know for sure (regarding uc certificates)?
