Hi!
Somebody please tell me what exactly is the isa server doing when it hardens
the system using the "Secure the Isa Sever computer" wizard for the 3
different options: (dedicated, limited services, secure)? That is, which
services will be disabled, etc.? Will it do anything else than just
disabling services? for example will certain Windows 2000 components be
uninstalled?

Thank you very much in advance.

Too many things to list. It basically puts it in a situation were you must
be at the keyboard in order to be able to log on.

That's a good question! To find out, you have to use SCM to take snapshot of
the system before and after, to determine the difference.

Hi there,

Basically ISA tunes Local Security Policy of the computer.

You can check it out before and after the updates to see the differences.
It enables full loggin in Event Viewer "security" and disables some unwanted
options from Local Policy.
