New installation of ISA 2K6 on a newly installed Windows 2K3 R2 box. This
box has 2 nics, one internal (192.168.1.16) and other external (public IP
address).

Here's the issue...When any change is made to the ISA 2k6 settings, when you
apply those changes, the RRAS ports disappear and therefore VPN disappears.
Our quick fix has been to disable RRAS, and reenable it and go thru RRAS
configuration. VPN works perfectly once configured unless we make another
change to ISA. DHCP is set to point to the DHCP server in RRAS.

Any ideas on why applying changes to ISA causes RRAS to lose it's ports?

thanks

changes to isa server VPN configuration needs to restart FW service and alo
RRAS services.as my experience it's better to set vpn ports via RRAS console
instead of ISA Console.

Thanks for the reply...The changes to ISA don't have to be VPN related for
the ports to disappear...And the ports are only configured in RRAS...

I still don't understand why the RRAS ports would vanish...

I have the same problem too. When any change is made in ISA 2006 settings and after applying -- RRAS VPN Configuration is gone.

If I found solution I will answer to you :)
