There is an ISA client profile that won't allow users to download Word DOC
thru hotmail though on the same computer using another profile on the same PC
it will work! Users can download GIF file but DOC and ZIP for instance won't
work. Since it work with less restrictive user profiles and with other file
extension, I guess the problem isn't the browser.

I have seen some of your other posts,...they are point to having screwed up
browsers,...or possibly screwed up File Associations (File Types) involving
the browser.

What do you mean by a "restricted profile"? That can mean anything. To me
it means you are using Mandatory Profiles or Roaming & Mandatory Profiles
combined in the Domain.
Thanks in advance.

Well, it is like I believe I said in a previous post,..you have to use the
Monitoring Log and set the Query Filter to show only traffic from one Client
IP# and make sure that the machine you are having a problem with is the
address you use. Then make your attempts to that Site machine and look for
"denies" in the log. But keep in mind that a certain amount of "denies" is
pertectly normal. If the ISA is doing the blocking,..then it will show in
the Logs,...if it does not show in the logs then ISA is not the one blocking
it.
That is really all I or anyone can tell you without physically being there
and seeing the whole thing with our own eyes.
I probably gave these links before,...but what they contain is important.

I like to remind you that we use ISA 2000 here and not 2004 version. Is
links are goods for that version too? I'm trying what you suggest but I can't
set it to the client IP...

Then you are just screwed. There is no live logging at all with
2000,....just a bunch of mind numbing text files with no filering. I do not
know of anyway to troubleshoot this with ISA2000 efficiently.
Thanks in advance.
