Summary:

When an HTML page is running from a CD, IE reloads the page when the CD is
ejected and then re-inserted.

Details:

I have a very large Internet application that uses multimedia from 8 CDs.
When the web page realizes that you need another CD to view the multimedia
you selected, my requests you enter CD #X. When the CD is ejected and the
new CD is inserted, the main web page gets reloaded and all of my
information gets lost.

I need the web page to not reload itself so that my information remains.

Other information:

* All 8 CDs contain the same web page in the root directory.
* I use AUTORUN.INF, but only the ICON parameter, so nothing automatically
loads
* I tried running the HTML file from the harddrive, but IE won't let my web
page, running from my harddrive, access my CD-ROM drive.
* I also tried loading the page in a different browser window, but I don't
know how to access a frame in a different window via HTML.

Any possible solution would be greatly appreciated. I need this ASAP (as
I'm sure everyone does =) ), so if you could e-mail me directly as well,
that would be great.

Thanks in advance,

Tony Olsen
