To whom it may concern:

I am trying to fix a machine that does not display all the contents of a
webpage. When you access the page, an error dialog box pops up stating:
"java.lang.Unspecified.Link.Error: no msawt in shared library path" in the
dialog box heading The content of the dialog box states: "Error Creating
Console".

This is a Windows 98 SE machine running IE 6 sp1. It was just upgraded to
IE 6 and this problem appeared. The user had no problem accessing this page
before IE 6. I ran a jview from a DOS box and the Java VM is version
5.00.3805.

I tried updating of Java VM and I tried unwinding the IE installation back
to IE 5, but no help. This person can access this page from another PC,
just not hers. Of course I tried deleting cookies, cleaning history, and
making changes to how IE access pages. I also tried checking and unchecking
items in the Advanced tab of IE's configuration, but not help.

Thank You in advance.
