If i've discovered a bug in my global.asa file, such that none of my asp
pages work properly, how do i make the changes to it take effect
immediately, short of rebooting?

Ie. I make a change to the global.asa file, but the changes i've made do not
get processed until after a reboot, but i can't very well reboot after each
change ...

I'm using Win98 & PWS.

TIA,
yt

You don't need to reboot. Just stop your WWW server and then start it again.
In PWS, go to PWS Manager and look for a big Stop button.

Hope this helps!

No Stoping and Starting PWS does not work..
I was told of some command prompt things you could do and how you could set
up .bat files, one a start and one a stop or somthing.. In the end I gave
up.. I'm now using an ASP version that I wrote. IT's all good, but then I
dont need Session on end or Application on End

finally found it .... here's the solution:
create MS-DOS batch file
c:\windows\system\inetserv\pws /stop to stop it
then
c:\windows\system\inetserv\pws /start to restart it ... this refreshes

You beat me to it =)
Can you not also include the /y switch to confirm the stop.. just to save a
keypress I suppose
