That doesn't necessarily make it "correct" but it probably is sufficient
to make it blocked by the patch that I mentioned... ; }
FWIW my version in my XPsp3 is 5.1.2600.5512 but I don't know
how I got it.

How do you launch NetMeeting? Use Process Explorer then and see
if msconf.dll is loaded as expected.
Also, isn't NetMeeting obsolete? I think there is an Office Meeting addon
being used instead now. It seems as if almost every time I use that
I have to load and accept a new extension. If it actually is "every time"
that could explain why there is no add-on to see. <eg>
FWIW I have two versions of Office Live Meeting both of which could
be uninstalled via Add/Remove Programs.
Otherwise, if you can't see something in your Add or Remove Programs list
for NetMeeting, perhaps you should try this:
<TITLE>How to uninstall NetMeeting on a Windows XP-based computer</TITLE>
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/938223/en-us
Unfortunately that article doesn't have any pointer to a reinstall procedure.
Hopefully it wouldn't do something irreversible and could just be used as
the first step of a repair procedure... <eg>
In any case I doubt that this newsgroup is the best place to look for help
with this issue. Since you're using the web interface and I'm using a real
NNTP newsreader I'll try linking you to a NM NG via cross-post...
