At my company - I know it's a shame and out of date etc. - we're using Office
Communicator (in the backend it's Netmeeting anyway...) and Netmeeting to
take remote control of end users' computers.

Between XP computers this works just fine.

When remote controlling any Vista PC - either via XP or Vista controlling
machine - it works for some time and after a time it locks up the mouse of
the controlling person. The application still runs and I can see anything the
controlled PC does, but it reduces effectiveness a lot.

Certainly Remote Assistance & Windows Meeting Space is the "official"
product suppoted by MS, but it lacks the ease of use that Netmeeting used to
had.

Question: Is there any way to make Netmeeting on Vista (I assume it's v3.02)
to allow being smoothly remote controlled or Netmeeting on Vista is just not
worth the effort.

Investing in a 3rd party app is not an option as I'm not part of any
decision making team that could influence any purchasing decision.

Regards,
