Hi

I am running Exchange conferencing service on E2000. The
client machine has Outlook XP. I schedule an online
conference using Exchange conferencing using Outlook xp.
NetMeeting client has been configured. When i join the
conference then I am taken to the conference web
application and this is when I am popped up with the error
that says "The other person did not allow you to join this
meeting" . This error message is popped up by NetMeeting.

Why is this error happening !!!??

TIA,
Vanitha.

The conference server client uses several NetMeeting files to perform its
functions. If you have currently have any security enabled on you conference
I would disable it until you have the clients working normally. I had no
trouble with joining conferences with the same configuration and set up as
you describe. I was, however, using Conferencing Server (SP1) and had no
security enabled.

I installed the certificate server on the E2k (on Win2k)
machine after the installation of the conferencing server.
I am not initiating a private conference, I am only
initiating a public data conference and I have this error
popping up always .. even if the other person whom I have
invited has nto joined the conference yet, I should
atleast see the T.120 MCU in the list of attendees apart
from me but the area where the attendees in the conference
are listed in the right frame of the web app are empty !!
any thoughts ?? Please do let me know !

TIA,
Vanitha
