mnmsrvc.exe has generated errors....

Good Afternoon,

When trying to activate Netmeeting Remote Desktop
Sharing, I get this error. "mnmsrvc.exe has generated
errors and will be closed by Windows. An error log is
being created. You will need to restart the program."
I've checked for Netmeeting upgrades and I seem to be at
the latest version. I've tried to stop and start the
service and it will not start. This is on a Windows 2000
machine. Any ideas or seen this error before? Thanks!

I presume the service not disabled ( accessible from "Administrative
Tools" - "Services" -- called "NetMeeting Remote Desktop Sharing") and that
you are attempting the activation from an account with full administrator
privileges?

This error has been reported many times before ( and always on Win2000).
AFAIK the exact cause and a cure has never been determined.
