EAN-13 Check digit example error?

Hello,
"Tried hard to understand the checksum digit calculation of EAN-13.
I understand the odd and even position now. So the 1st, 3rd and 5th is the odd
digits. I tried the barcode below:

123456789123
No.being added as odd position should be added (1+3+ 5+7+9+2)*3=81
Even position should be (2+4+ 6+8+1+3)=24
Total should be 105, so check digit is 5.
But the check digit online checked is 1. Help!

Hah, I saw the problem is. The position aligned is from right to left not left
to right. You just misunderstand the position assignment. BTW, what software
are
you using to make barcode? Some barcode softwares support to compute checksum
automatically.
