Just an idea here:
I was looking at my profile in windows live when it occured to me that this
could have been used for social networking long before myspace or facebook
ever existed. By combining the tools and resources already available to
windows users MS could have easily expanded its internet presence in this
area. What was missing? Imagination? Promotion? Perhaps...
So, how about this: Using the users profile page as the homepage, add to
that the uses of Messenger, plus all of windows live, photos and video chat,
and now our new search engine. What is remaining is a good name. "Bing Me"
Just by using the tools we already have we can easily overreach the current
social networking sites and increase the MS internet presence.
