Emily, It is entierly safe to chat to people online, even if you don't know
them. Be careful of what you are saying though. Never give out your address,
any card details or personal information. The majority of things are at your
discretion.

Nothing is wrong there. i think no body is such fool to give his or her
credit card no. and other confidential secrets to a person on chat site. even
he or she knows him or her.Some says that they loss something by chatting on
internet and some one hacks their computer's after recieving some info , but
most of them just telling lies nothing else. Hackers don't have so much
liesure to hang each pc and take over every machine connected to net.

I have never chatted -
but I have a tech issue I am hoping someone can answer. I can receive
emails, on my address from my domain name. But, I can not send emails from
Windows xp outlook express. I have Comcast and set up an email address with
them. They took me thru the steps of making sure my Tools/Mail/Properties was
set up and that did not help ---- they then had me send from Comcast.com and
I was able to send from there. So they said - therefore it is a Microsoft
issue ---
do you have any suggestions.

Don't worry, Emily, it's totally safe as long as you're careful. Never agree
to meet someone, never give out your phone number, never give out your real
name, never EVER give out your location. Email address is pretty safe, as
long as it doesn't have your real name in it. So, me_da...@shawmail.com is
safe, anna_...@shawmail.com isn't. Hope this was helpful. ;)
