My sign in ID is saved. However, I can check the box "Save my Password", and
for years...my password my password has NEVER been saved!!!!!

I'm fed-up.

¿How can I get my password saved?

Thanks, in advance

AFAIK, the "Remember password" option was eliminated a few years ago for
security reasons.

Windows Live ID Sign-in Assistant might be worthwhile for you (though I
wouldn't install it myself).

Maybe you are purging your cookies. Where do you think that login data
is saved when you are NOT in a browser session and logged in?

In addition *maybe*

IE > Tools > Options > Advanced > Untick "Do not save encrypted files to
disk."

At least I think that's being sent over SSL. I'm a wee bit rusty.

(Replied to your blog post and finally approved it BTW)

"In solving a problem of this sort, the grand thing is to be able to reason
backwards. That is a very useful accomplishment, and a very easy one, but
people do not practise it much. In the every-day affairs of life it is more
useful to reason forwards, and so the other comes to be neglected. There are
fifty who can reason synthetically for one who can reason analytically." -

Nothing too current. We got back in March, did a little bit more travelling
but locally (NE mostly) and then my mother passed away so we've been here
since. We're thinking of hitting the road again in the earlier months of
next year but for shorter drives, more time in hotels, etc... Had to do
Spring Break in Panama City Beach, Florida. Just had to...

Some 25,000 miles (more than enough to go around the globe at the equator)
was eaten up.

My ears didn't ring but I kinda suspected. Give 'em my hello and let 'em
know I'll send a DTS request when I get a bit of time.

I was awfully close to your house. We spent a few days in PA, mostly
Kutztown and then in Gettysburg. (Some pics will be in the gallery of that
I'm sure. That's actually - find the blue pickup truck - where we
discovered, look at the license plate, that Jesus drives a pickup truck.)

There are some beautiful places and we have piles of more photographs to be
uploaded. We're just lazy. If there's a type of scene or area then chances
are we've got something similar though we never made it further west than
New Mexico (Roswell and Taos). She'd never seen the East Coast really so we
spent a great deal of time there and in the deep south though we skipped
Texas mostly except to drive across it a few times.

Anyhow, I figure my vacation is over. It had been a year or so since I'd
been active here. Time to get my hands dirty again.

I did do some fun times at slashdot but the avid anti-Microsoft stuff gets
tiring. I don't mind a good, justified, rant about a company but there's
such a thing as being blindly zealous and that grows tiring though I still
check the news there often and make a bunch of comments. I did do some OSS
help and that was fun. That turned out to be a lot of heavy thinking though.
It was fun coding in PHP for a while though.

So, yeah... *snaps heels together* Galen reporting for duty Sir! <VBG>

Sabrina said to say, "Hello. Going to make it back to the great white north
before the snow gets here?"
