Outlook & Hotmail

Hi,
you probably all know exactly where to go etc with my
query, but I just need to know where to download the
latest MS outlook, as hotmail help says I need Outlook 6
to add a http account for using my hotmail through
outlook. I really just wanna use hotmail on outlook so
email is easier, but i went to the ms pages to try &
download the latest version, but frankly I think i'm
a) very dumb b) getting confused c) the patch aint there,
coz all i find is security updates etc. Im on Office 2000,
so any help u guys can give would b great, thanx a load.

Outlook Express versions 5 and above, which are part of Internet Explorer have built-in
support for Hotmail HTTP accounts.

These are different programs than Outlook97/98/2000+ which are part of Office. If you are
using Office 2000, then you probably are using Outlook 2000. Full Hotmail support in
Outlook, you need Outlook 2002 also known as Outlook XP which is part of Office XP. To
get that you have to BUY the upgrade to Office XP. However, there is some support for
Hotmail in Outlook 2000.
