Getting this error when trying to send through OE 5.5: An
unknown error has occurred. Subject 'Interesting day',
Account: 'mail.gtcinternet.com',
Server: 'mail.gtcinternet.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server
Response: '451 qq write error or disk full (#4.3.0)',
Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 451, Error
Number: 0x800CCC6A

Have searched KB and got no answer. Tried compacting
folders and renaming outbox.dbx. No luck. Anyone know?
Thanks
John

The problem is on the mail server. Their disk is full. If the problem doesn't clear itself
soon, you'll need to call your ISP.

First, thanks for the reply Mike!
Actually I don't think it was that, I have two ISP's and
it would not send through either. So here is what I did:
The tech at Mindspring told me to install OE over again.
Downloading new OE did NOTHING except waste time and
bandwidth. So I deleted the folders.dbx, pop3ui3dl.dbx,
and for good measure the outbox.dbx and the cleanup.log.
(Actually I had tried the last three individually but that
did nothing, but then I also tried with the folders.dbx.)
Then saved all the remaining folders with my mail in them
to a different location. Restarted OE.
Tried to send a message and it went!
Now I just brought back the folders from the store
directory but they all did not return so I just brought
back the folders that did not show using copy and had all
the messages back. Tried to send again and it was still
working.

I don't know why you were getting problems with both ISPs, but the specific error message that
you reported

Response: '451 qq write error or disk full (#4.3.0)',

was issued by the mail server 'mail.gtcinternet.com'

OE was just reporting the error back to you.
