Sorry if this is off-topic, but I'm trying to install sql server reporting
services for sql server 2000 on my Win2003 server. In the system
prerequisite check, get the warning 'IIS is either not installed or not
configured for a server component installation.' Well, IIS is installed (I
can get my default page from http://localhost). Any idea why I get this
warning?

Yes, I made sure framework 1.1 is installed and ran aspnet_regiis -i to make
sure it's enabled.

As Ken mentioned make sure you have the ASP.NET 'web service extension' is
enabled also. This setting is in Internet Information Services MMC.

For future reference, the solution was to uninstall IIS, reinstall it, and
re-associate aspnet (aspnet_regiis -i). It's not as painful as it sounds.
