Hi

I am looking for a cheap, simple tool, that will allow me to replicate a
bunch of files from a wwwroot from one server to the other in a secure
environment. Like RSH over SSH for unix.

Netbios is turned off so ROBOCOPY, XCOPY, etc are not options, unless
someone can either point me to a host based firewall that is cheap.

Anybody know of such a product?

Paul

We use Opalis Rendevous, www.opalis.com

It can synch using FTP, copy (not for you in this case) and its
own RDV transfer protocol.

For interests sake, I understand you would turn Netbios off on public
facing interfaces on the server, but why not install second NIC's and
either use a separate switch or crossover cable between the two
servers, then you could have netbios over TCPIP on the internal
private address NIC's and you would have the added advantage to
separate the traffic of file synching from the public NIC's

Just an idea.
