Hi,

Using Windows 2000 Advanced server; when we perform a soap-call in an ASP,
we get the following messages:

WSDLReader error '80020009'

WSDLReader:XML Parser failed at linenumber 0, lineposition 0, reason is:
WINHTTP5.DLL or higher must be registered to use the ServerXMLHTTP object.
HRESULT=0x1: Incorrect function. - WSDLReader:Loading of the WSDL file
failed HRESULT=0x80070057: The parameter is incorrect. - Client:One of the
parameters supplied is invalid. HRESULT=0x80070057: The parameter is
incorrect.

Apparently we need to do something with WINHTTP5.DLL, but the question is:
what?
The file is present on the server, in folder \WINNT\SYSTEM32 (and some other
folders as well), but to no avail. What have we failed to do?

Any help and suggestions appreciated.

Henk

Yes, I have, it didn't help.
It was only after I filed this message (I'm not a Microsoft expert), that I
found out I should use regsvr32. So my hopes went up, but alas...
