Hello,

I'm having some problems with IIS4 log files. Our server maintains a few
virtual domains. The log files for each domain are kept in their related user
directories in the FTP tree. My problem is that the event log is showing many
IIS log errors, saying the log files couldn't be written. What are the
appropriate permissions needed on the directory that the log file resides so
that the IIS service can successfully write the log? I tried it with
'IUSER_machinename', with change permission, and I tried it with 'system',
change permission. Neither one works and I can't find anything on the MSKB.
What am I doing wrong???

Any help would be much appreciated. Please post here or e-mail me at
gec...@smashco.com.

Thanks in advance,

Greg
