How can I connect the mail services included in IIS with an Exchange Server? When configuring Office Server Extensions, all mail will be routed thru the SMTP Virtual Server included with IIS (Windows 2000 Server), however it is not properly configured, or I don't know how to do it, in order to transfer all this mail to Exchange Server.

TIA.

What version of Exchange Server are you using?

Exchange55 (and earlier) use their own SMTP gateway - Internet Mail Service
(Connector). IIS SMTP is not used at all.

Unluckily what I'm trying to do is to set up the Office Server Extensions,
specifically the subscriptions, which for some reason use the SMTP gateway
in IIS, so what I'm trying to do is to forward all this mail thru the
Exchange Server, is it possible?

I have no idea how those Office Server extensions use IIS SMTP. You absolutely
can use Exchange machine witth IMS as just SMTP host.
